Terms of Service

Working draft · Updated October 21, 2026 · Version: 2026-10-21-draft

These Terms of Service govern business-to-business engagements for Glassdoor and Airbnb review assessment and removal request assistance offered under the Improve Rating brand. “Improve Rating,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service provider identified in the accepted service quotation or individually negotiated written agreement. “Client,” “you,” and “your” refer to the business accepting that engagement and its authorized representatives, including hosts acting for their rental business and property managers. Services are offered to business customers, not for personal consumer use.

Please review these Terms before authorizing any paid work. Browsing this website or submitting an initial free assessment inquiry does not, by itself, authorize a paid service or create an obligation to pay a removal fee. A paid engagement requires affirmative acceptance of these Terms and explicit approval of the quoted price as described in Section 17.

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in this document overrides mandatory legal protections, waives rights that cannot lawfully be waived, or provides absolute protection against liability.

1. Nature of Our Services

Improve Rating provides specialized online reputation management services for Glassdoor and Airbnb reviews, including professional policy assessment and assistance with appropriate review removal requests. Services are assessed and provided individually, on a case-by-case basis, within the scope of an accepted quotation or written agreement.

Our work may include reviewing supplied materials, identifying potential policy issues, preparing supporting information, and assisting with legitimate reporting or dispute procedures. We follow lawful platform reporting and dispute processes; we do not make or control platform moderation decisions.

Each platform retains sole authority over its platform, moderation decisions, account restrictions, and review visibility. We do not control its systems, algorithms, policies, or enforcement procedures.

2. No Guarantee of Removal

Our services support legitimate removal requests, but successful removal cannot be guaranteed. A negative opinion alone does not necessarily establish grounds for removal. Every review is evaluated individually, and the relevant platform makes the final decision.

No particular rating change, recruitment result, occupancy improvement, financial benefit or completion date is promised.

We may decline cases that we consider unsuitable, unsupported by available information, or inconsistent with applicable law or platform policies.

3. No Guarantee of Permanent Removal

A successful review removal does not guarantee that the review will remain permanently unavailable. You expressly acknowledge that the relevant platform may, at its own discretion:

  • Reinstate previously removed reviews.
  • Restore content following an appeal or additional investigation.
  • Change its moderation policies or reevaluate past moderation decisions.
  • Restore previously deleted or restricted content.
  • Display the same or substantially similar content again.

Once an identified review has been successfully removed, verified, and the agreed service completed, subsequent restoration by the relevant platform does not automatically invalidate the original service. Unless separately agreed in writing, we provide no permanent removal warranty and have no ongoing obligation to monitor, preserve, or maintain a review’s removed status.

Reinstatement does not automatically entitle you to a refund or cancel an agreed payment obligation. This is subject to applicable law, any separately agreed written warranty, and any proven failure to perform the agreed service.

4. Third-Party Platform Risks

Glassdoor and Airbnb operate independently and may take actions affecting employer profiles, property listings, host accounts, access, ratings, and published content. Authorizing a reporting or dispute process does not eliminate these platform risks. Potential third-party actions include:

  • Temporary account restrictions or permanent account suspension.
  • Restrictions on employer profile or host account functionality.
  • Removal or modification of employer profile or property listing content.
  • Changes to employer or property ratings.
  • Removal or reinstatement of reviews.
  • Additional account verification requirements.
  • Limitations on access to platform services.
  • Other moderation or enforcement actions.
  • In severe circumstances, permanent loss of access to a company profile, host account, property listing or related platform services.

We cannot guarantee that the relevant platform will refrain from any of these actions. You are encouraged to consider the potential operational and commercial consequences before authorizing a service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Improve Rating is not responsible for independent actions, decisions, restrictions, or enforcement measures taken by the relevant platform or other third-party platforms. This does not exclude responsibility for our own conduct where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, including intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable law prohibits such exclusions. Section 9 also applies.

5. Client Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Risks

By affirmatively authorizing a service order, you confirm that you understand:

  • Review removal results are not guaranteed.
  • Removed reviews may subsequently reappear, and permanent removal is not guaranteed.
  • Third-party platforms independently control moderation and enforcement decisions.
  • Account restrictions or profile-related consequences may occur.
  • Improve Rating cannot control future decisions made by the relevant platform.

You voluntarily accept the disclosed risks associated with independent third-party platform decisions. Risk acceptance does not waive legal rights that cannot be waived under applicable law or excuse any proven failure by us to perform the agreed service.

6. Payment Upon Removal

Improve Rating operates on a Payment Upon Removal basis for eligible review removal services. Under this model:

  • No upfront removal fee is required unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
  • You receive and explicitly accept the price for each identified review before paid work begins. The quotation identifies the provider, scope, currency, payment method and applicable taxes or whether taxes are included.
  • The agreed removal fee becomes payable only after the corresponding review has been successfully removed.
  • Unsuccessful removal attempts are not charged.
  • Each successfully removed review may be billed individually according to the accepted quotation.

For billing purposes, “successful removal” means the identified review has been verified as removed from public visibility on the relevant platform following the agreed service. Temporary website errors, ordinary service outages, or other unverified visibility issues do not constitute successful removal.

We may provide reasonable supporting evidence, including confirmation records or dated screenshots. Removal verification establishes completion of the corresponding service for billing purposes; it is not evidence of a permanent removal guarantee.

Any different fee arrangement or separately chargeable service must be expressly disclosed and accepted in writing before the relevant work begins. An initial free assessment inquiry does not constitute acceptance of any quotation.

7. Payment Due Within 2 Business Days

Following verified successful removal, we will provide written confirmation and payment instructions or an invoice through the agreed communication channel.

You must submit full payment for each successfully removed review within TWO (2) BUSINESS DAYS following confirmed removal, provided that the corresponding payment notification has been delivered.

If the payment notification is delivered after removal has been confirmed, the two-business-day period begins upon delivery of that notification; it does not run before you have received the payment notification. The triggering day is excluded when counting the two business days.

“Business days” exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays at the service provider’s registered place of business, as identified in the accepted quotation or written agreement. The payment notification should identify the applicable due date. Payment must be made using the agreed payment method and currency.

Failure to pay within the required period constitutes a breach of the agreed payment terms. In the event of late payment, subject to applicable law, we may:

  • Send payment reminders.
  • Suspend ongoing services or decline additional requests.
  • Seek recovery of outstanding amounts.
  • Charge legally permitted late-payment interest and reasonable recovery costs where applicable.

Communicate any legitimate invoice dispute promptly in writing, identifying the specific disputed item and the reason for the dispute. We will review the issue in good faith. Undisputed amounts remain payable under the agreed payment terms, without limiting any mandatory rights concerning disputed amounts.

8. Completed Services and Refund Policy

Once a review has been successfully removed and verified, the corresponding service is considered completed for billing purposes. The agreed fee remains payable even if the relevant platform subsequently reinstates that review, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.

Refunds are not automatically issued merely because:

  • A previously removed review reappears.
  • the relevant platform changes its policies.
  • the relevant platform reverses an earlier moderation decision.
  • A third-party platform subsequently modifies its content or account enforcement decisions.

This provision does not affect statutory rights or remedies for services that were not performed as agreed. If you believe a fee was billed incorrectly or removal was not properly verified, contact us with the relevant review and invoice details so we can investigate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Improve Rating shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from independent third-party platform actions. Such damages may include:

  • Lost profits or business opportunities.
  • Reputational harm or recruitment-related losses.
  • Loss of anticipated revenue.
  • Business interruption.
  • Loss of access to third-party services.

Where legally permissible, our aggregate contractual liability relating to an affected service shall not exceed the total amount actually paid to Improve Rating for that affected service. Any limitation applies only to the extent enforceable under the law applicable to the engagement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. These provisions do not override mandatory legal protections or eliminate remedies that applicable law requires.

10. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information.
  • Submit only legitimate and authorized requests.
  • Ensure that you have authority to act on behalf of the relevant business.
  • Comply with applicable laws and platform policies.
  • Avoid false or misleading supporting information.
  • Cooperate reasonably with legitimate case assessments.

You are responsible for the accuracy of materials and instructions you provide. Improve Rating does not undertake to fabricate evidence, impersonate individuals, submit knowingly false reports, or engage in unlawful activities.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Improve Rating against third-party claims directly resulting from your knowingly false information, unauthorized instructions, or unlawful conduct, except to the extent caused by Improve Rating’s own wrongdoing. This obligation is limited to the consequences of the specified client conduct and does not transfer responsibility for our own wrongful acts to you.

11. Platform Decisions

Glassdoor and Airbnb make their own moderation and enforcement decisions. Our service consists of assessment and removal-request support; we do not control those decisions.

12. Service Availability and Discontinuation

We may decline new requests or suspend services where necessary for operational, legal, compliance, or security reasons. We may discontinue a case if continuing would be unlawful, unsupported by available evidence, or inconsistent with applicable platform policies.

Where reasonably practicable and legally permitted, we will communicate material suspension or discontinuation decisions to the client. Fees for previously completed and verified services remain payable under the agreed commercial terms. We will not charge removal fees for unsuccessful work where Payment Upon Removal applies.

Any separately agreed fees or prepaid amounts are governed by the relevant written agreement and applicable law; discontinuation does not eliminate mandatory refund rights or remedies for failure to perform.

13. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We treat client communications and submitted review information as confidential business information and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. Access and disclosure may be necessary for service delivery, authorized support, or legal obligations. Neither absolute confidentiality nor absolute data security is promised.

Client information may be processed for:

  • Review assessment and service delivery.
  • Customer communication.
  • Billing and recordkeeping.
  • Legal compliance.

Personal data must be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws. Provide only information that you are authorized to share and that is reasonably relevant to the assessment or engagement.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published with a revised effective date and version identifier.

Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise agreed and permitted by law. Existing service orders remain subject to the Terms accepted when the order was placed unless both parties agree otherwise. Publishing revised Terms does not, by itself, retrospectively alter an existing service order.

15. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

The accepted service quotation, any individually negotiated written agreement, and these Terms together govern the relevant service engagement. Where a specifically negotiated written agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the specifically negotiated agreement takes precedence, subject to mandatory law.

16. Contact Information

For questions about these Terms or a proposed service, request a free assessment. For an existing engagement, use the business contact identified in your accepted quotation or payment notice.

17. Express Acceptance Before Service

A paid engagement starts only after an authorized representative explicitly accepts the quotation and the applicable Terms, separately from a free assessment inquiry. The quotation identifies the provider, reviews, scope, per-review fees, currency, taxes and payment arrangements.

You will receive the applicable Terms before authorization. Your affirmative acceptance and approval of the quote must be recorded with the Terms version, date, authorized reviews and agreed price. Silence, a preselected checkbox or a free inquiry is not acceptance.

“I have read and agree to the Terms of Service, including the Payment Upon Removal policy, the two-business-day payment deadline, the absence of any permanent removal guarantee, and the disclosed third-party platform risks.”

An initial free assessment inquiry requires no contractual acceptance and creates no obligation to approve a quotation. Do not send payment or treat an inquiry acknowledgment as authorization for paid work.
